Gene talks of The Blue Star Banners that the Town of Lawrence Indiana are displaying all over town for the residents of Lawrence who are in harm’s way today. May God watch over them and bring them Home soon.

Homeowner assistance program begins today

About 4¸300 homeowners have already applied for assistance under the expanded Homeowners Assistance Program (

http://hap.usace.army.mil) ¸ which was signed into law Feb. 17 with $555 million in funding.

Wounded warriors and surviving spouses receive priority in the program¸ although about 98 percent of the applications received so far have been in the PCS category.
